China Trip - November 29-30 - Traveling Days

We made it to China! What an incredibly long trip. All of our flights were on schedule, and we had no problems. Our friends Kim & Laura met us at the airport to see us off, along with Eliana and Katy, (Graycen’s future best friends). They had to get up so early to get to the airport from Monett by 6:30am! They must love us a lot or just be totally insane!





Time seemed to stand still while we were on the long flight from Minneapolis to Tokyo . I had no concept of time. We were chasing the sun, so it stayed light the whole trip. One of the other families using Bethany was on our flight, and then we met up with four more in Tokyo .

Our guide, Joy met us at the airport and we arrived at our hotel around 10:00pm. We got checked in and went straight to our room to crash. Kevin had slept some on the flights, but I only got about 2 hours rest.

We have a free day tomorrow, so we will go to breakfast and meet the rest of the families that are traveling with our group. There are 12 families getting babies from Wuwei SWI, where Graycen is from.
