Trip to DC and reunion

Wow! It's been a very long time since I've posted. Kevin, Gavin, Graycen and I just returned home late Monday night from a quick trip to Washington DC and Williamsburg, VA. We spent 2 nights in DC then drove down to Williamsburg for Graycen's reunion with her "China Sisters". We met up with 8 of the 12 girls and their families for a fun weekend of catching up. The girls have all changed so much since we were together in China 18 months ago. It was so fun to see their little personalities. Of course they were all coming out of their shells by Sunday night when we were leaving on Monday. We are already starting to plan next year's get together--we hope to make it a yearly tradition. It is so important for them to feel connected to their sisters from China and their orphanage.

Grant returned home from his 12 day road trip adventure on Sunday. He saw the sights in Memphis, Birmingham, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington DC, Philadelphia, NYC, New Jersey & Indianapolis...as well as everything in between. I think he and his friend Todd had a great time. They were glad to get home, though.

Garrett had to stay behind because he started marching band camp. Since he will be a freshman, he needed to be there. Uncle Kevin stayed out at the house with him. I think they had a good time giving each other grief, as they always do when they are together!
