Tonight was Gavin's History Banquet at his school. They are studying Missouri history, so they were to choose a significant person in Missouri history to "become" and give a memorized speech about their life in first person. Gavin chose Harry S Truman (he does love politics...even though he was the wrong party). We told him that he was an old democrat, when they were different than today! He did a great job, we were so proud! Grandma, Grandpa, Melba and Sylvia came from Monett to watch and eat hamburgers with us at the banquet.
