This was our second home football game, but I forgot my camera the first time around. Garrett is in marching band, which means the band parents come out in full force to the football games. No offense to the football parents, but if it weren't for the band parents, the stadium would be a lot less populated. Our football team happens to be doing really good this year (4-0) so hooray for them! Our marching band consists of about 1/4 of the high school (248 members) and this means lot of parents/grandparents. Graycen loves the football games usually, but for some reason she got startled when the opening kickoff was returned by us for a touchdown causing the crowd to go wild!! This included her daddy whose lap she was sitting on. I think it freaked her out a little and she spent the next 30 minutes saying, "I want to go home" over and over and over! It was homecoming so Grant and Anna came too, and the even sat with us. It is a little less than 6 months until their wedding. Anna finishes cosmetology school next week. We are proud of her. October 6 starts the marching band contest marathon of 5 Saturdays in a row. The first weekend is in Tulsa, so we'll be road tripping it to the big OK state.
P.S. Note Graycen's new tooth! She went to the dentist Tuesday for her checkup and I begged him to please put a new crown on her rotten little nub that was left after the old one broke off. He agreed that it was best to cover it up, not for the same reasons as me, but either way, he tried and got one to fit! It is smaller than her other teeth, but not noticeable compared to a missing tooth. No more Hillbilly Graycen!
