We are getting closer to FuXing :0)

We got these pictures from our agency with an update in June.  FuXing is an artist and loves to draw.  I think his drawing is of the Olympic park in Beijing.  I'm sure he has seen lots of pictures, but has never been there.  Kind of ironic that we have been there.  Hope to take him there someday.
We are now waiting on our Article 5 from the US Consulate in Guangzhou.  This is the last piece of the puzzle that must be submitted to CC@@ before they can issue our travel approval.  Recently TA's have been arriving in about 2-3 weeks from the date the Article 5 is picked up and delivered.  Our Article 5 is scheduled to be picked up on Monday, August 9th!  Two weeks from then is August 23rd, which happens to be Kevin's birthday.  I am thinking receiving our TA on that day would be perfect.

Our friend and travelmate, Cynthia, from Galia's adoption trip just received her TA this past Monday.  She will be traveling Sept 1-16.  I think we may just miss each other in China, but how fun it would be to see her there again with her precious baby girl!

The bottom line is that we are going to China, and we will be going pretty soon.  Can't ask for more at this point.

We have survived the past 3 weeks.  First was our move to our new home.  Then Graycen's travel group reunion we hosted in Branson and finally Galia's hip surgery.  The first two were good things, and the last will be a good thing eventually.  Right now it is not so fun, but Galia is doing well with recovering, as long as we keep the pain meds going.  The surgery is comparable to bilateral hip replacement surgery as far as pain goes.  Thankful that the worst is behind us!

School starts on August 19th, so we will be busy getting ready for that big event.  Graycen and Galia will be in kindergarten at the same school, with different teachers.  Garrett will be a senior and Gavin will be a freshman, both at the high school.

I will try and post some photos of our new house soon.  Hope to have good news to share about our travel, too!

So happy you got some updated pictures. What a great birthday present that would be for Kevin. Sorry to hear that Galia still needs to be on pain meds. Praying her pain will come to an end soon. Miss you.
