I have been up to Des Moines to my parents - just got home Monday night. My mom bribed me to come up and help with a garage sale and then let us have all the money for our adoption. It worked! She got me & Graycen (and Gavin - but he was there for 2.5 weeks) for a whole week. She worked hard for a month before gathering up all the goodies to sell - my dad helped too!
So, we were able to sell $850 worth of treasures, most that people had left on the curb for the trash man. With this money and all the money we will soon get from all the extra work Kevin has been doing, we will have the amount we need to send our dossier to China! We are just waiting on immigration, and then we'll be sending it off!
We are planning on an even BIGGER sale at our house this fall, to help with our travel expenses.

Sheryl, That's so awesome. What a blessing. I wish you lived closer. I would bring over my stuff that didn't sell 8*D. Can't wait to see you guys in less than 2 weeks. It's going to be so fun watching the girls play with each other...as well as the moms getting caught up! So glad your garage sale was such a success.
